Getting started in outpatient medical assisted treatment (MAT) for substance abuse is an important step towards recovery. Outpatient care allows individuals to receive medical treatment, behavioral therapy, and case management while still living at home and attending to their daily responsibilities.

Here are some steps to help you get started:

Acknowledge the problem: The first step is to recognize and accept that you have a substance abuse problem and that you need help. This can be a challenging but necessary step towards recovery.

Assess your needs: Consider the severity of your substance abuse, any co-occurring mental health issues, and your personal circumstances. This self-assessment will help you determine the level of care and specific services you may require.

To start your road to recover you can walk in between the hours of 6am-8am or contact us at  (435) 241-7778  to schedule an appointment. During this initial visit a professional(s) will assess your condition and recommend the appropriate treatment options for you.
